It’s a fun and colorful event, so we encourage you to wear bright and festive colors. Yellow is traditional, but feel free to wear any color that makes you feel happy! Comfort is key, so breathable fabrics like cotton or chiffon are perfect.
Men could opt to wear a kurta pajama, jeans, khakis or slacks along with a casual button-down shirt or polo. No jackets are necessary. Women could opt to wear a salwar kameez set, kurtas, khakis or jeans, sundresses, dresses, skirt and dressy tops, or dressy pants outfit.
What to expect: The Haldi ceremony unfolds as a cherished pre-wedding ritual. Cloaked in colorful turmeric paste, symbolizing purification and prosperity, the bride and groom embark on a new chapter. Following the Haldi ceremony, guests can participate in “Phoolon ki Holi,” where guests can shower each other in vibrant flower petals, creating a colorful and fragrant atmosphere. This gentle and elegant tradition symbolizes love, joy, and the beauty of nature.
